The Whitetail Ridge Snow and Ski, Necedah Wildlife Refuge, and Mill Bluff State Parks area provide many opportunities to get out and be active in the snow! Downhill Ski, Snowboard, Tubing Every age and skill level can enjoy the Whitetail Ridge Ski Area at Ft. McCoy. The public ski hill is well-groomed for skiers and snowboarders alike. For the more skilled, there's a terrain park with challenging features. The lake is home to several species of fish: bluegill, crappie, bass and northern are commonly caught here.
