inter can be pretty awesome here in the Tomah area! The
Whitetail Ridge Snow and Ski, Necedah Wildlife Refuge, and
Mill Bluff State Parks area provide many opportunities to
get out and be active in the snow!
Downhill Ski, Snowboard, Tubing
Every age and skill level can enjoy the Whitetail
Ridge Ski Area at Ft. McCoy. The public
ski hill is well-groomed for skiers and
snowboarders alike. For the more skilled,
there's a terrain park with challenging
features.
There is also a tubing hill for families
to enjoy with ease as you take the
"Magic Carpet" ride to the top!

Ice Fishing
From first ice, many fishermen enjoy
setting up on Lake Tomah. The lake
is home to several species of fish:
bluegill, crappie, bass and northern are
commonly caught here. Lake Tomah is a
great place to take the kids fishing, and if
you are here during the holidays, you can enjoy
the Holiday Lights in Winnebago Park when you
come off the ice.
