GRIFFIN COMPLEX ' S NEW LOOK
The Griffin Complex debuts exciting changes this fall, including the installation of a new gymnasium floor, sidelines, and new bleachers; a new HVAC system was also installed last summer. The renovations were made possible by a $ 1 million Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program( RACP) grant.
GMercyU WELCOMES NEW PROVOST AND VP FOR ACADEMIC AFFAIRS
Stephen Grieco, DMA joined GMercyU as Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs on June 1.
With more than 25 years of higher education experience, Dr. Grieco has served in a number of roles, including most recently as Vice
President of Academic and Student Affairs at Eastern New Mexico University at Roswell. The majority of Dr. Grieco’ s career has been spent in the Philadelphia region at the Community College of Philadelphia, Cabrini University, Montgomery County Community College, and Manor College. Dr. Grieco also spent a short time as a Spanish teacher in the Central Bucks School District.
I am committed to fostering an environment of academic excellence, innovation, and respect for all members of the University community. I look forward to collaborating with GMercyU’ s dedicated faculty, staff, and students to advance the University mission and make a meaningful impact together.

ATHLETICS INDUCTS HALL OF FAME CLASS OF 2025
Gwynedd Mercy University Athletics inducted its eighth class of Hall of Fame Griffins during Mercy Week on Friday, September 26.
Honoring excellence in leadership, legacy, and competition, the GMercyU Athletics Hall of Fame was established in 2011 to celebrate champions and build tradition.
The 2025 honorees are:
• Paul Murphy, Associate Athletic Director and Head Baseball Coach( 1997-2020)
• R. J. Every, Men’ s Cross Country( 2006-2010)
• Kelsey( Deveny) Barbrow, Field Hockey( 2010-2013)
• Tony McCraw, Men’ s Lacrosse( 2012-2016)
• Peter Brzezinski, Men’ s Tennis( 2013-2017)
• Colleen Farrell, Women’ s Cross
Country( 2003-2006)
• Dave Tatoian, Baseball( 2015-2019)
This is one of our favorite events. Not only do we get the opportunity to celebrate and honor some of our greatest student-athletes and University ambassadors, but we get a chance to come together as Griffins. I truly treasure the opportunity to recognize the best of our best.
