At twelve we start using social media like Twitter and Instagram and these platforms can be a way of being aware of what’s happening in the world and also of knowing people and making friends from the other side of the planet– always being careful of course!
And when it comes to making friends whose mother language isn’t the same as yours, English turns out being the best option to communicate!

Friends all over the world? That sounds nice, right?
Think about all you can learn…. The culture you can gain…
Well…the sad thing about having a cyber friend in a country far away from yours is the fact that you can’t see each other in person, you can’t share a hug, go out for pizza or watch together the new movie from the trilogy you both like so much.
But… what if there’s a way you can meet in person? Somewhere between your two countries so you don’t have to spend a lot of money, somewhere you both have fun together and learn at the same time?
The best answer is a holiday programme or maybe something like that.
There are great companies with amazing programs where you can meet many people with different stories and culture from yours. You can expand your English and also learn some words in Italian, French, Spanish… maybe even Chinese?
