Panama has taken a decisive step in strengthening its international MICE positioning by appointing Alfabétiko to lead an ambitious strategy across 14 key markets, delivered through the global reach of the Travel Lifestyle Network.

 

This project is a clear example of how a coordinated international network can translate strategy into real business opportunities. By leveraging TLN’s local expertise in each market, Panama’s MICE positioning is being activated simultaneously across North America, Europe and Latin America, ensuring both global consistency and local relevance. The rollout spans the United States and Canada, key European markets such as Spain, France, the United Kingdom, Germany and Belgium, as well as leading Latin American countries including Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Guatemala. This multi-market activation allows direct engagement with top decision-makers and a tailored commercial approach adapted to each market’s dynamics.

Panama’s competitive positioning further supports this approach. Its strategic location as a hub between continents, strong air connectivity to more than 90 destinations, world-class infrastructure

such as the Panama Convention Center,

and a growing hospitality offering create

an ideal environment for hosting large-scale international events.

 

The activation plan includes high-impact initiatives such as direct meetings with international decision-makers, B2B agendas, roadshows and commercial missions, as

well as curated site inspections in destination. These actions are complemented by participation in key industry trade shows, training programs for the sector and the activation of an international MICE ambassadors network.
