Tupac and many other artists were under the recording label of EASY E. Things were looking good. Tupac was caught by the police and was imprisoned. While in prison Surge Knight visited him. They came into an agreement that he will come into Surge Knights recording stable. When Easy E complained and showed his unwillingness, Surge Knight pulled out a gun on him. Tupac, Dr. Dre and artists like Snoop Dogg were all under the Death Row recording label. This led to Easy E writing a song that dissed Dr. Dre; as the person who did not understand family. This did not stop Death Row from producing music for many more artists. Biggie Smalls collaborated with Tupac in many songs. Together they were double trouble for the government. It is believed that the state through the police infiltrated the gangs. Tupac`s gangs and those of Biggie were eventually responsible for their demise. CHAPTER 5 Having been in the net for this long, Peeps had not been doing it for work purposes alone. He enjoyed chatting with people all over the world. Be it on face book, MySpace, friendster, yahoo messenger, Mxit, it did not matter. He loved them all. Mxit is one of those networks where you are guaranteed to get a love of your life. Peeps had been in contact with a number of ladies. There was this HIV positive young security guard from the Free State. She was not afraid to talk about her status. She was a turn off for Peeps though. Not that she lived far away; she asked every little thing from him. She would nag him for days about a R5 airtime. For Peeps this was not right. This meant that when the time to meet with her; he was the person to pay for everything. This Van Ransburg girl was not the last one. She definitely was not the one for Peeps. Angy loves me and I love her. I have never stayed with a woman I am not married to. This is my first time. I live in her home. I first came here as a visitor. Well before I go there let me tell you what happened before. Sometime back Angy lost her brother and she had to go to his burial. When she was to arrive in the Durban airport, the old one in Reunion, she wanted us to meet. I was so scared to meet her. They say first impressions last. I had no money. In my pocket there was only one hundred rand. On the same day was my meeting with the guys in Thornwood. Believe me I was curious to meet her. My meeting was to be late for me to meet her. One night she phoned telling me that she was in Kokstad and I was so happy that I had the second chance of meeting her. We made an appointment to meet in Durban. It was one of the best days of my life. I went around Durban trying to find an appropriate accommodation but there was nothing because of the world cup. The place I had secured got lost as there was a change in the flight times of Angy. On the Saturday morning she phoned me while I was going to the gym. She was on her way to meeting me. I still had no proper place. I could not take her home because of the shortage of space and the number of people living there. He went to Gunsmoke`s house. He was reading a book like always. Even when Peeps was still around there, they used to read books and share what they read. It was a good habit apart from being drinking buddies. Peeps and Gunsmoke enjoyed books about crime, gangsters, Dons and the like. They also enjoyed Stephen Kings`books. Today was not about the books. This was real life. Believe me they converted much of the books into real life stories. Gunsmoke was happy to see Peeps. They exchanged a few complementarinesses. Peeps learnt that Gunsmoke`s sister was in Johannesburg for work. Not that there was something special about them. Peeps was fond of her in a sisterly way though; there were times when Peeps had some nasty thoughts; having agreed on the reasons why they could not fall for
