There are four ways that your psychiatrist
may deal with the side effects:

Prescribe additional
medication to resolve
some of the unpleasant
side effects.

Reduce the antipsychotic
medication dosage.

Switch the young person to
another type of anti-psychotic
medication.

Help the young person to
develop coping strategies.
