TOP 10 OVER FIFTY
Announcing … The inaugural class of Top 10 Over Fifty ! These men and women are setting a path of giving back for future generations . Some work full-time , while others are retired . They all share a common trait : Giving back to the community through volunteerism , mentorship , actively serving on boards and committees dedicated to empowering and improving the community or through random acts of kindness .
Top 10 Over Fifty is presented by Mississippi Power through a partnership with The Meridian Star and Timeless Meridian Magazine . In addition to gracing this edition ’ s cover , the honorees are also featured on the following pages with their brief bios .
Additionally , the Top 10 Over Fifty honorees were feted with a luncheon at Meridian Museum of Art , where they received several gifts . The event was broadcast live on The Meridian Star ’ s Facebook page and is still available for viewing .
