This poem, believed to be written by Daisy Buchanan about Gatsby, is a sad history of their time together and what their love could have been. Reading it as a reader you feel a strong sense of remorse and helplessness coming from Mrs. Buchanan as she navigates uncharted territories in love. The artwork beside the poem was chosen courtesy of Mr. Nick Carraway, who titled the selections 'Gatz'. As Mr. Carraway is widely accepted to be the closest friend of the late Jay, it really adds a sense of depth to the words of the poem and take us into what Gatsby may have looked like to a friend - a dreamer.
