Milestones-

Immigration Quota Established (May 19, 1921):

The Emergency Immigration Act, the Emergency Immigration Act, the Immigration Restriction Act, the Per Centum Law, and the Johnson Quota Act was introduced into government by Republican Representative Albert Johnson from Washington. It was signed into law by President Warren Harding on May 19,1921. The quota limited the number of immigrants to 357,000.

German Reparations (1923):

French and Belgian troops invaded the Ruhr and after Germany fails to pay their reparations put onto them with the Treaty of Versailles. They began to take back how much they were owed. German miners in the Ruhr went on strike which resulted in hyperinflation in Germany and the collapse of their government. Now Britain and France are lacking on paying their loans to the United States because Germany is not able to give them payments.

Harding Dies (August 2, 1923):

It is saddening to know that our very own President William G Harding has unexpectedly died. He apparently died of a heart attack.
