BREXIT – WE LOVE BREXIT DON’T WE? Makes me feel oh so very proud to be British. It’s nice to see our imperialist past is still not quite behind us. Theresa May has told us that Brexit means Brexit – and we’re not messing about here, we’re going for a hard Brexit – which can only result in multiple casualties. But we don’t hear about that, they’re all safely stowed away in a dark room somewhere underneath the editorial offices of The Sun – yes, it’s the same room that Boris Johnson regularly goes to get his tummy rubbed after a hard day of leading a campaign built upon a mound of empty promises for the more hard-core Tories – or to me and you, the hard right.
“No deal is better than a bad deal” – has Theresa May had a fall? Did she hit her head? Or is she just delirious? Now surely as Prime Minister you would be aware that we would not be able to trade outside of Britain without a suitable trade agreement. Just to put it into perspective 53% of our imports and 44% of our imports are with … EUROPE. But “no deal” sounds good to me Prime Minister.
We, the great British public were assured that the “necessary” cuts to our public services were crucial in reducing our national debt – WRONG.
Our national debt has doubled since 2010. What does that mean for us?
Our wages drop, we earn less, there are less jobs and overall, we’re miserable. A third of people living in Britain now live in poverty – is austerity not a concept in the warped tory world? Or Is it just something else that is carelessly brushed under the carpet like… oh, adequate mental health services for example.
Now, that leads me on nicely to the seven years of funding cuts to the NHS under a Conservative government – All of which is a part of their game plan. NHS in crisis? Better speed up the privatisation process. I’m sure that third of the British population living in poverty will be able to afford private healthcare. Fuck it, its peanuts.
I guess the only real question left to ask it:
DO THEY OWE US A LIVING?
OF COURSE, THEY FUCKING DO.
SNAP!
