STRONG AND STABLE ?

We live in a world saturated in tory rhetoric – a world where Rupert Murdoch sits in his ivory tower and decides and filters through what he feels that our tiny, oh so middle or god forbid, working-class brains can handle via his mass media machine.

The thing about the Tories is that they’re all about distraction. The best example of which being the economic crisis that the UK now finds itself in – due to the Tories continuous failed economic strategies – Oh, but don’t forget … it was Labour that got us into this mess. I mean, there’s no “magic money tree” you know?

So, do we dare to hope for a better future? Even Theresa May has said that “this is the most important election of a generation” – is that? What’s the word? Honesty? That I’m hearing.

But what I really want to hear (which I’m sure I never will) is the Tories come clean about the mess that they’ve made of the country that they claim to have their hearts set on protecting. Because in all honesty, there’s nothing great about Britain in 2017 – it’s a fucking mess.

But don’t lose hope – The Conservative party prides itself on its “strong and stable leadership”. Just be sure to turn a blind eye to the crumbling of David Cameron’s leadership and the 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9!!!! Times that Theresa may has backtracked on a policy in the past year – its easy, the mainstream media do it all the time.

The modern day Conservative party isn’t that different to one of those restaurants on Just Eat – you know the one – the one that has 5 stars and over 300 reviews that you just can’t be arsed the filter through. So, you order from there, 300 people can’t be wrong, right? Then there’s a knock at the door – your foods here. An hour late of course. You open the box, and it’s a cold, disappointing mess. Oh, and you paid £5 for delivery. Sound familiar?

SNAP!
