In the olden days, edge banding was a manual process, however thanks to the advancement in technology this is no longer the case. Italian brand Biesse has been at the forefront of taking full advantage of technology with their range of edge banding machines. As time progressed, the demand for furniture increased which put manual edge banding at a disadvantage because it would not be able to keep up with the supply, let alone keep up.
