The Father hears , and He heals . Yet you may wonder , why does He allow pain in the first place ? Or why does He delay in healing , or in saving loved ones ?
When you ’ re going through the fire of tribulations , consider this word : “ You are co-heirs of Messiah — and His inheritance is precious and beautiful — if indeed you share in His sufferings , so you may also share in His glory . For I consider the sufferings of this present time not worthy to be compared with the coming glory to be revealed to us — the sons and daughters of God .” Romans 8:18 .
The Ruach directed me to look down from another bridge . I noticed the green moss stirring in the water and then the leaves falling into it . The Spirit pointed out that at night when the stream is dark , it seems foreboding like death . But during the day when the stream is full of light , it speaks of the beauty of life . Even the falling leaves speak of the life of trees upstream , which cast off their leaves in order to sustain life through the coming shorter and colder days . When I , sensing the Spirit ' s prompting , looked out over the side , the colors in the stream were even warmer and more vibrant . In addition to the green moss and autumn leaves , the pebbles below glistened with many shades of gold . The Ruach said to me : Even the New Jerusalem in all its glory and with all its gemstones does not outshine the beauty of the moss and glistening stones beneath you .
O worship the Lord , in the beauty of holiness ; be in awe of Him , all the earth .
