He fights for the beauty — both in the stream beneath me , and in the stream of my life , and in our lives together , since He understands that my concern about obstacles is not as much for myself as for others in the congregation . Nevertheless , the Lord is not slow , but patient , so that He may create such beauty in our souls .
Yeshua told His disciples in John 16:33 , “ In the world you will have trouble , but take heart ! I have overcome the world !” When a man or woman in his tribulations identifies with Yeshua in His , and overcomes the world with Him , it is an awesome beauty in the Father ’ s eyes . Romans 8:17 , “ Now if we are children , we are heirs , heirs of God and co-heirs of Messiah — if indeed we share in His sufferings so that we may also share in His glory .” When you , instead of kvetching , choose to identify with the sufferings of Messiah ’ s sacrifice for us , then you also share in His glory .
The Father is looking for those who , in the midst of the fire of trials , overcome . When His people cry out , He hears them with compassion . He understands . For the Messiah His beloved Son also suffered in the midst of His trials .
