Beyond having a great weekend service , we envision helping people experience the Lord through personal worship , prayer , devotion and the reading of Scripture . This effectively leads us into green pastures and living waters , bringing restoration to our soul ( Psalm 23 ). For use within our congregation , we have recently designed a 23-week devotional journal ( called “ 23 ”) which uses what we call the P . R . A . Y . method , which positions people into a daily rhythm of reading the Gospels and experiencing Yeshua , the Shepherd King .
A recent study of more than 40,000 participants surveying their level of Scripture engagement each week found when people engage in Bible reading four times or more a week , their rates of loneliness , destructive thoughts , and addictive behaviors decreased by more than 57 percent while their level of sharing their faith and memorizing Scripture increased over 200 percent !

What is the P . R . A . Y . Method ?
There are many wonderful methods for engaging with God in daily devotion and journaling such as the commonly used S . O . A . P . method ( from the acronym Scripture , Observance , Application , and Prayer ) and also the equally known A . C . T . S . method ( which centers on our call to Adoration , Confession , Thanksgiving , and Supplication ). Although different from the S . O . A . P . and A . C . T . S . methods , we felt compelled to create a unique method that not only involves prayer and the reading of Scripture , but also to provide tools which encourages people to walk in faithful obedience to the Lord in their everyday lives .
