Many years ago , the leaders of the two largest missions organizations at that time , Bill Bright of Campus Crusade for Christ , and Loren Cunningham of Youth with a Mission , met together and discussed the issues of culture . They came up with seven mountains that are the main cultural centers shaping the whole society . They envisioned more believers becoming leaders in those spheres and positively shaping the culture . The elite in these spheres control the culture formation levers of the society . Since that time , some have taken their vision to an extreme by wedding it to a post millennial triumphalism ( Kingdom Dominion theology ) where many asserted that believers in Yeshua are called to and will take over the whole world and rule it apart from the second coming of Yeshua .
