some years later, when it comes time for him to step away from his position, he can feel confident the city will only continue to grow with his successor at the helm.
“ Tifton does a lot of things very well, but I’ m a believer that you can always improve, you can always do a little better,” Shoobridge said.“ That’ s one of my mantras:‘ Be better today than you were yesterday; tomorrow, be better than you were today.’ We’ re not always going to succeed, but as long as that’ s our goal, we will continue to get better.”
