Moisturizers Most women are under the impression that if they have oily skin, that they should skip using a moisturizer. The truth is, every skin type needs a moisturizer as it’s acts as a barrier and protects our skin from harsh pollutants. Oily skin requires a light, oil-free lotion formula. This will also keep the skin from becoming dehydrated and producing even more oil. Normal / Combination Skin It’s quite normal for combination skin to produce more oil on the forehead, nose and chin, also know as the T-zone. This type of skin can often change from oily or dry depending on environmental changes. This type of skin may also experience mild breakouts from time to time. Cleansers This type of skin can usually handle a range of product types, I recommend using a liquid cleanser because it tends to be mild and well balanced. Moisturizer It’s important not to use a heavy cream. For this type of skin a lightweight formula works best. It’s the perfect amount of coverage needed for protection purposes. Dry Skin There’s the good, and there’s the bad. Usually dry skin is associated with mature or aging skin. There are fewer breakouts and the pores are less visible; however, this skin type has to deal with fine lines and wrinkles. Cleansers When you have dry skin, you should always go for a heavier, creamier cleanser. Dry skin is very thirsty and needs the hydration along with the extra added moisture.
