the beauty of a rolling mountain
road? If this is you, keep reading,

come out and play October 14th
and 15th on the Talimena Scenic
Drive. For an amazing three years
we have traveled to the eastern
corner of Oklahoma to visit the
mountains as they step up into
the Ouachita Forest in Arkansas.
Our journey is along the Talimena
National Scenic Byway, Route
1, and our ride is dedicated
to support this beautiful drive.

The Talimena Scenic Drive
is supported by the Talimena
Scenic Drive Association at www.
talimenascenicdrive.com. These
guys are the people who work
every year to help ensure that we
have a good time, help the parks
and Forest Department and help
to let the people know about this
amazing national treasure. This
month we ride for Talimena! Join
us on October the 15th to see
a stretch of road on top of the
Winding Stair Mountain and the
Rich Mountain tops. We will be
stopping by as many of the 24
vistas as we can and going to a

lot of places along the way on
our 3rd Annual TaliRally.
This is a unique rally unlike
any other. This year is going to
be fun and laid back. I like to
call it a “rolling rally”. It doesn’t
have a central party area or large
rowdy crowd to work your way
around. It’s more of a weekend of
riding, sight-seeing, meeting new
people and exploring the most
beautiful mountain range in SE
Oklahoma, spilling over into SW
Arkansas. The Talimena National
Scenic Byway is surrounded by
many gateway towns overflowing
with cool things to see, places to
