Happy New Year my riding friends ! Are you ready for 2017 to be Happy , Prosperous , Filled with Good Health and FUN ? I know I am . Hey ! No more ugly political ad campaigns ! No more Elephant and Donkey ! HOORAY this year is already starting better than last year . I know here at Thunder Roads , we are excited about some new developments , ideas and adventures . It ’ s been 8 years since I took this magazine by the handlebars and sped off into the open road of publishing . I ’ ve never , in all my life , been able to say that I ’ ve done anything more friendly , fun and exciting on a daily basis than publish , edit and promote a magazine . However , I ’ ve been doing it as a one girl band for quite some time . This year , I ’ m stepping just a bit to the left and letting some of those who have been doing odd jobs here and there , take more of the front seat alongside me . I ’ ve found some folks who can help me grow this publication in the direction I ’ ve wanted it to go for many years . With their help , we hope to expand our coverage in both print and our outrageously successful on-line magazine as well as through our FLASH ! Periodical Newsletter . Not only will we expand readership and advertising opportunities for you , but we will also be bringing in new writers , articles and topic matters for your enjoyment . You ’ ve been asking for expanded coverage and topics ! We are bringing it to you ! Keep the ideas coming . On this note , I would love to hear if you are an experienced sales representative with a proven track record looking for a way to ride and get paid for it . If you ’ re interested , send me your resume at T @ TRMOK . COM . We have several areas in both Oklahoma and Arkansas that need more sales , feature writers and coverage expansion . Perhaps , you ’ re our next candidate to fi ll a few of these exciting spots . As for me , with my time freed due to these additions , I ’ m taking on a wonderful opportunity with a local bank that will fi ll up my retirement coffers for when the time comes that I ’ m able to turn this mag over to the next generation and spend my days lost in America on two wheels . I can hardly wait to see how amazing this magazine is going to get ! Be good to yourself and others in the coming year ! Your Riding Writer , “ T ” Collier
