READERS’ RIDES cross in one direction at a time. Heading east on Hwy 62, we made a left and headed north on Hwy 187, taking in the crisp fall air and admiring the reds, yellows and oranges starting to paint the hilly landscape all around us. Such a beautiful time of year to ride the Ozarks! We made a quick stop at the Beaver Volunteer Fire Dept. for a break and a couple of pictures. There are a couple of picnic tables at the pull off which sits atop a bluff overlooking the White River, providing a great view and a great photo op. Pictures taken, we hopped on Thunderhorse II and proceeded down into Beaver itself and the small riverfront park adjacent to the bridge proper. After a brief stop for more pictures, we hopped back on the bike and headed over the bridge to continue our ride. We had brought our helmets along so instead of heading into Eureka Springs we turned north on Hwy 23 and headed up into 28 Thunder Roads Magazine o
