Cover photo : Brian Dow ’ 93 pictured at the Mira Loma substation in Ontario . The facility contains nearly 400 Tesla PowerPack units on a 1.5-acre site , which can store enough energy to power 2,500 homes for a day or 15,000 homes for four hours .

Jeff Christenbury ’ 03 is the Associate Director for Communications and Content . He contributes to social media , communications and written works such as Postscripts . Jeff has worked at Thornton Academy since November 2010 and has served multiple roles as a teacher , dorm parent , club advisor , in athletics and marketing .
Sydney Menard is transitioning out of her role as the Associate Director of Marketing and Development and moving on to devote her time and talents in support of her family ’ s non-profit , Camp Kita , a therapeutic summer camp for children bereaved by suicide loss .
David Arenstam is a proud member of the English department and enjoys providing opportunities for TA alumni and former students to glimpse inside his classroom and the activities in which his students participate . Outside of work , you may often find David with his family , writing or spending an inordinate amount of time on his bicycle as he pedals along the backroads of southern Maine .
Corrections to Fall 2021 Postscripts Annual Report - Leonard Johnson ’ 47 was to be noted in the Bicentennial Club for his annual giving . Memorial gift was to be noted in memory of Emerson J . Armstrong ’ 63 by Paula Langelier Armstrong ’ 65 .
Postscripts is published twice a year for the Thornton Academy community by the Office of Communications .

Giselle Tardiff ’ 90 is the Alumni Relations & Development Coordinator and enjoys helping with fundraising events , alumni functions , and connecting with the alumni community .
Haley Thompson is the Director of Development and enjoys providing opportunities for TA alumni to stay connected and engaged with their alma mater . Outside of work , you will find Haley spending time with family and taking advantage of all the great Maine outdoors has to offer .
