Robyn Grenier Packard and
her husband Stephen recently
relocated to Pittsburg, Pennsylvinia
from Plainville, Connecticut.
They have three children and
four grandchildren who all live in
Connecticut.
1974
Michael Verrier was awarded “The
Maine Sunday Telegram Coach of
the Year” for golf.
1975
Jon Dupuis ’75 and his wife Ellen
Scammon Dupuis ’75 celebrated
the marriage of their son, Jason T.

Dupuis ’02 on October 10, 2009.
Marjorie McDonald tells us after
spending 5 years in South California
and 12 years in Denver, CO, she has
come home to Saco. She is living with
her mom Frances Rowell McDonald
’42 in a brand new condo at Shannon Woods. Marjorie’s career within
the travel industry is many facetted,
from travel agent to trucking and
customer service and administrative
duties with the airlines. She loves
horses and volunteers with several
local non-profit organizations.
Elizabeth Procter-Gray’s daughter,
Erika, married Thornton alumnus,
Gregory Walton ’03 and they
now live in Saco. Elizabeth is still
living in Massachusetts where she
enjoys working as a biostatistician.
Elizabeth’s son, Ron, is spending a
year abroad in Buenos Aires on his
Pepperdine University program.
Frank H. Sears has been living in
Knoxville, Tennesee since 1993 and
declares, “Love the South”! He has
two sons and one granddaughter.
Frank has worked for Pitney Bowes
for 26 years.
Allen R. Sicard states “OMG - a 35th

Bonnie Weiler is proud to be a 3rd
generation of Thornton Academy.
Bonnie’s nephew, James Grover, is
in Thornton’s freshman class this
year. Bonnie tells us she “wishes my
girls could have gone to TA, but we
are in New York”.

Robert Laskey and his wife,
Melody Jordan Laskey ’79,
celebrated their daughter’s
Malorie Laskey Rooney ’04
marriage to Sean Rooney ’03 at
the Cornerstone United Methodist
Church in Saco on Saturday,
September 5, 2009. The reception
was held at Dunegrass Country
Club and the couple went to
Jamaica on their honeymoon. 14
additional alumni celebrated along
with them as part of the wedding
party!
Judith Morse Morin was promoted
to Student Accounts Coordinator
at Maine College of Art in Portland.
Judith completed her 33rd year of
ticket sales at TA football games!
Rebecca L. Johnson Norton
was married in 1979, divorced
in 1993. Rebecca has been with
her boyfriend, Dale, for 18 years.
Rebecca moved up north in
October 2001. She has worked as
a Customer Care Representative
for the US Census Bureau and for
Home Care.
Janet Leary-Prowse’s oldest son,
Kendall, is a freshman at the
University of Delaware, majoring in
exercise science. Kendall has plans
to go to medical school for sports
medicine. He rows for the crew
team. Janet’s other son, Graham, is
in 8th grade and a soccer star on
two teams. He is getting straight
A’s and looking forward to high
school.
Karen M. Reardon is teaching and
coaching at South Portland High
School. Karen has recently got back
into competing again and competed
in the National Senior Games.
She has won the shot put and the
discus throw in the 50-54 age group
at Stanford University.

The Class of 1979 reported having
a great reunion at Jimmy the
Greek’s on October 24, with almost
50 classmates attending. Pictures
of the reunion can be viewed on

husband Keith welcomed their first
grandchild, Reese Manikian on Sept.
18th, 2009. Their son Gregory Donovan ’85, and wife Nicole Dow Donovan ’03 will welcome their first
child in May. Their daughter Allison
L. Donovan ’06 will graduate from
Holy Cross on May 28, 2010 and son
Jeremy Lowell ’01 resides in Houston, TX after graduating from Endicott College.
