Summer Reunion
The Thornton Academy Development Office hosted a
summer reunion for all classes celebrating a milestone
on Friday, July 28th. More than 250 alumni gathered
on campus representing the classes of 1967, 1972,
1977, 1982, 1987, 1992, 1997, 2002, 2007, and 2012.
Alumni enjoyed a BBQ, tours of campus, socializing
and dancing to Radio Revival, a popular band made up
entirely of TA alums from the class of 2004.
50th Reunion Notes
The class of 1967 celebrated their 50th reunion on July
28th & 29th. Classmates enjoyed the summer reunion
on Friday night and came back to campus on Saturday
for a more intimate gathering. Head of School, Rene
M. Menard '88, gave a tour of campus followed by
lunch and socializing.
Senior Alumni Reunion
The Annual Senior Alumni Reunion took place
on Saturday, September 16th. Nearly 300 alumni
gathered to reconnect and reminisce about their time
at Thornton Academy. This annual event is a favorite
among alumni that are celebrating 51 years or more of
being a Thornton Academy alum.
