Postscripts Thornton Academy 438 Main Street Saco ME 04072-1565 NONPROFIT U.S. POSTAGE PAID Portland, ME 04101 Permit #218 Headmaster’s Student Assistance Fund Thornton Academy is dedicated to equipping all students with what they need to achieve success. For some students, that need is very basic: food. Due to Thornton Academy’s independent school status, public funding does not pay for our free breakfast and lunch program as it does for surrounding public schools. Instead, meals for students in need are funded through other avenues, such as donations from alumni and community members. To donate to the Headmaster’s Student Assistance Fund, visit www.thorntonacademy.o rg/give or contact the Development Office at 602-4460. 48
