Modderfontein Library Coffee Morning
n Friday 27th October, author Pamela Heller-Stern will attend the
Friends of Modderfontein Library’s coffee morning where she will
introduce her latest novel, “Who’s Knocking on my Door?” discuss the
book’s condensed style as well as her writing career.
Ex-Cape Town now transplanted Gautenger, Pamela has always been carried
away with fine art, writing and research. She lectured in English Literature at
the University of the Witwatersrand at the tender age of 22 and completed her
Doctorate there at age 25.
“Who’s Knocking on my Door: Could it be Death?” a rather sinister title opens

Africa in World War 11 and was shipped to Italy as prisoner-of-war.
Since her retirement 10 years ago, she writes full-time. Her newly completed
novel “Have a Heart” will be published in the UK in June 2018.
Pamela’s books will be on sale after the talk and she will be donating 10% of
the sales as well as copies of two of her novels to the Friends of Modderfon-
