HELLO AND
WELCOME!
Welcome to the inaugural issue of This Is
Tees Valley – the new annual publication
showcasing the very best of our unique
region in the North-East of England.
A
s proud Teessiders, it gives us
great pleasure to launch this
new publication – designed to
promote and shout about what our
region has to offer to the rest of the UK.
We formed our company, Resolution
Media and Publishing, after the
successful launch of the Tees Business
magazine in 2015 – a magazine which
has firmly established itself as the voice
of business in the Tees region.
We then launched Tees Life, the Tees
region’s only lifestyle magazine, in 2017 –
and the concept of This Is Tees Valley was
a logical succession for us.
We know the Tees Valley is a special
place – the people, our businesses, the
scenery, the lifestyle – but it’s often
portrayed, unfairly, in our opinion, in a
less positive light by the national media.
The Tees Valley Combined Authority
does a fantastic job in promoting what
we have to offer, telling the world about
the investment opportunities here.
We wanted to complement their work
by putting together what is essentially
a marketing document for the Tees
Valley, but delving into more detail with
features on some of our great businesses,
educational institutions and personalities.
With an initial print run of 10,000,
this high-quality, 84-page publication
is designed to promote the businesses,
investment opportunities, people,
lifestyle and living spaces available in the
Tees Valley region.
We’re delighted with the end product
and we’re confident it will serve as an
effective marketing tool for our great
region.
And we hope the readers of this first
issue, wherever you are in the UK, will
consider visiting or investing in the Tees
Valley region in the near future.
