TeesAMP Tees Valley: A region on the UP The landscape of the Tees Valley has long been dominated by Middlesbrough’s imposing Transporter Bridge and the iconic Roseberry Topping. But all of that is changing. Millions of pounds of investment from government, public and private bodies has kick-started a series of projects that will see the region forever transformed for the better. New, cutting-edge business parks, sector-leading teaching and research establishments and top- quality tourist attractions emerging over the past few years show that Tees Valley is a region really on the up. Centre Square – Centre Square is a new £24m development in the centre of Middlesbrough’s well-connected and vibrant town, creating 200,000 sq ft of office space in one of Tees Valley’s primary centres. 28 TeesAMP – Already home to TWI’s Offshore Wind Validation Centre, Middlesbrough’s pioneering £22.5m, 180,000-sq ft manufacturing park plan aims to attract state-of-the-art manufacturing firms seeking premises in the region. Feethams House – Feethams is an £8.5m development in the centre of Darlington, a five- storey, 30,000-sq ft building providing Grade-A accommodation located within walking distance of the town’s station and its vital East Coast Main Line connections to the capital.
