Tees Valley:
A region on the UP
The landscape of the Tees Valley has
long been dominated by Middlesbrough’s
imposing Transporter Bridge and the
iconic Roseberry Topping.
But all of that is changing.
Millions of pounds of investment from
government, public and private bodies has
kick-started a series of projects that will see the
region forever transformed for the better.
New, cutting-edge business parks, sector-leading
teaching and research establishments and top-
quality tourist attractions emerging over the past
few years show that Tees Valley is a region really
on the up.
Centre Square – Centre Square is a new £24m
development in the centre of Middlesbrough’s
well-connected and vibrant town, creating
200,000 sq ft of office space in one of Tees
Valley’s primary centres.
