A
new collaboration will translate founder-led research into a scalable healthtech product that helps people measure and monitor cognitive performance – supporting earlier insight across a range of neurological, neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative conditions.
Teesside-based product and technology consultancy BearTech has announced an ongoing partnership with Cognitive Healthtech( CHT), a UK healthtech company developing a unique way to help people measure and monitor cognitive performance.
The collaboration has produced the initial tech stack underpinning the platform and trained the first version of its AI.
The announcement also follows Cognitive Healthtech’ s selection for the UKRI STFC Health Mission Accelerator for dementia- a competitive, governmentbacked programme where CHT was one of a handful of companies awarded a place in the 2026 cohort, which ran from January to March as part of the NHS‘ Fit for the Future’ strategy.
TURNING LIVED EXPERIENCE INTO A SCALABLE PRODUCT Founded on lived experience and shaped by family experiences with neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative conditions including ADHD, dementia, autism and bipolar disorder, CHT has developed a proprietary framework to capture longitudinal cognitive and behavioural patterns.
The challenge was turning that framework – developed with the University of Sheffield – into an automated, scalable technology that could work in everyday life.

FROM CONCEPT TO CREDIBLE, FUNDABLE PRODUCT Working alongside CHT, BearTech has provided technical leadership, product strategy and senior CTO-level guidance – supporting everything from architecture decisions to funding readiness, including angel investor pitch deck development, mentoring and grant-ready product planning.
Together the teams have: > Established the initial tech stack underpinning the product. > Trained the first version of the platform’ s AI model. > Supported pitch deck development for angel investor and grant funding.
