Engineering Innovation from the Heart of Tees Valley
Engineering Innovation from the Heart of Tees Valley
Delivering cutting-edge, multi-disciplinary design engineering and project management solutions across the UK, Addison Project continues to drive innovation and support key industries – beginning with its strong foundation in Middlesbrough.
Operating from a growing network of offices in Lancashire, Cheshire, Teesside and most recently Essex( opened in 2025), Addison Project is celebrating nearly 30 years of success. The company is part of the Addison group, which also includes Addison Precision, Addison Engineering and Addison Academy.
Despite challenging economic conditions, Addison Project has maintained steady growth, delivering services across engineering design, project and construction management, procurement and consultancy to clients nationwide.
Gina Peacock, operations manager at Addison Project, said:“ Our innovative approach creates tailored solutions that reduce costs, save time and enhance quality, helping clients engineer a safer, more sustainable future.”
Middlesbrough leads in sustainable innovation
Addison’ s Middlesbrough office plays a central role in the UK’ s energy transition, with the team acting as a key partner in the development of sustainable aviation fuel( SAF) projects. This new frontier builds on Addison’ s long-standing expertise in the petrochemical, chemical, oil & gas, food & beverage and pharmaceutical sectors.
Luke Cartwright, project director, said:“ As clients shift from traditional fuels to greener alternatives, we’ re increasingly asked to develop new processes that reduce emissions. Our involvement in landmark SAF projects has seen us design new-build facilities that convert waste into aviation fuel, preventing landfill and enabling sustainable progress.”
Addison’ s ability to deliver engineering, procurement and construction management( EPCm) services to both greenfield and brownfield projects positions it as a trusted, future-ready partner across industry sectors.
Commitment to ESG and responsible growth
Addison Project is also making strong strides in environmental, social and governance( ESG) practices. The group is led in this area by Sophie Addison, group ESG & marketing director, who is working to embed sustainability principles into every level of the business and client engagement.
Sophie commented:“ As part of our commitment to responsible growth, we support our clients in meeting their sustainability goals by sharing knowledge and best practice. Our recently published Sustainability and Impact Report outlines progress across four key pillars: Environment, People, Innovation and Community.”
The company has achieved EcoVadis Silver recognition for its sustainability credentials and holds a longstanding RoSPA Gold Award for health and safety performance.
Engineering a better future – regionally and nationally
Addison Project continues to grow as a leading provider of EPCm services, from small-scale plant upgrades to full new-build industrial facilities. Its regional presence, especially in Middlesbrough, is key to delivering innovation and employment across Tees Valley, while serving a national client base.
With ambitious plans for future growth, Addison Project and the wider Addison group are focused on engineering a more sustainable and prosperous future for clients, communities and the UK economy.
