what we will see is an enhanced capacity to reach our whole community…as we work together.”

Long-time King’s Way member Susan Green loves the merge. “More people, more resources, more time, more of everything…so more is better”

Her husband Tim added, “You have more people who are anxious to go out and do things, and by combining the two, you have the excitement of two churches going out to do one job”

King's Way’s new Stewardship Team has also found ways to benefit both campuses.

“We’ve been able to find a lot of things, including King's Way things and Camino things where we’ve found we can save some money.” -Administative Pastor Dan Ragle.

This team has been working harder than ever before, spending many late nights at the church. Their goal is to create a culture and commitment to:

Focus….

“Every dollar the church spends out of the church budget we want it to be towards what the church's mission is.”

Trust…

“The full disclosure of financial information.”

And Generosity…

“We want to become a church that’s known for what we are giving, not by what we're taking away."

While King's Ways Stewardship Team works to maximize the resources God has given us, uniting with Camino allows King's Way members to maximize ministry opportunities in the community.

New King's Way Campus Pastor David Snow says, “We have a great foundation for that here at Kings Way because we’re so involved in the community through the week with things like Boy Scouts, Basketball Camps, AAU Volley- ball…things like that. We have just multiplied our opportunity in regards to our relationship with Camino. They have the clinic, public health things, counseling…and its just given our church and our people an opportunity to be so much more involved in our community.

Tim Green adds, “And that’s where Jesus said for us to start...in our own community.”

“I'm excited too, to know that God is working through Rusty to show us what He wants us to do in the community. It's gonna be an exciting time to reach people for Christ”
