With pre-loaded Metrocards for customers purchasing down jackets and parkas,
UNIQLO opened a pop-up shop in Union Square station. In an effort to find
businesses to fill empty commercial space in the station, MTA offered
temporary leases for pop-ups until long-term tenants are found. PSFK

JACOBS LEAVES VUITTON
After 16 years with the luxury brand, Marc Jacobs officially
announced he was leaving Louis Vuitton to focus on his own brand.
The departure allows Jacobs to focus on taking his brand public,
which is expected within the next three years. THE CUT

fashion. After a 1968 Yves Saint Laurent
black robe pulled in nearly $159,000, it
is safe to say that appreciation for the
pieces has grown far beyond
fashionistas. FORBES
