Scentbird uses a Warby Parkerlike sampling system, Bergamot reminds us of Birchbox with sample subscriptions and Pinrose basically offers towelette samples which can be purchased in an order as large as 20 fragrances. e crucial element each is trying to address is the ability for longterm testing, to get the right feel with a fragrance. FASHIONISTA APPS LIVING APPS THE FRAGRANCE LAB Each of us has a unique personality, and why shouldn’t our scent be just as lovely? London-based retailer Selfridges is providing the chance to match fragrance and personality with the Fragrance Lab. e lab, complete with lab coat-clad assistants, provides an interactive experience that essentially maps personality and develops a unique fragrance that corresponds to the visitor’s interaction with the space. DEZEEN Adding personal elements is at the core of digital customer service, but UK-based Nuji took it a step further by adding an interactive model. e model wakes up and moves with the users interaction with the app, but at its heart Nuji is essentially a Wanelo competitor.
