The very same ideas which have brought Bill Ryder Jones and TATR together for this rather fruitful new record. The true sound is a relaxed indie rock and roll maturity which contains lovely magic moog, guitar plink and doo wop‘ oohhs’. Watch for the stand out syncopation and counterpoint
Because Trudy And The Romance are a good innocent band, meaning they are playing good solid music, with some nice themes and catchy hooks. The collaboration of interesting instrumentation and strong vocals certainly stand out, and in fact make them different.
