HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN BUSINESS? I have been the owner of Wee-B-Kids Child
Care & Preschool since October 15, 1985.
WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO GET STARTED? When I was young, my mom ran a daycare in our
church and I helped her by doing little things. I fell in love with the children and decided
to follow this same path.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE PART OF THE BUSINESS? One of my favorite parts of this
business is the camaraderie between the children and the staff. Everyone truly seems
to enjoy each other’s company.
WHAT ARE YOUR CUSTOMERS LIKE? All of the parents I meet are very family-oriented
professionals.
WHY SHOULD NEW CUSTOMERS DISCOVER YOUR BUSINESS? Here at Wee-B-Kids Child
Care Center & Preschool, we offer a flex-program where you pay only for the needed
days. You fill out a weekly schedule & you are charged accordingly. We are very child
friendly. It’s all about the kids. Children learn through play, practice & consistency.
ARE THERE ANY PLANS FOR YOUR BUSINESS TO EXPAND, ETC.?
We currently have the Brookfield location with an additional center in Menomonee Fall
and do not have any plans for any additional locations.
WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE LOCAL BUSINESSES? Some of our favorite local
businesses in the area are (Walmart), Pick N Save, Marty’s Pizza, US Bank, Walgreens,
Michael’s, Panera Bread, Champs, McDonald’s & Cousins. I bank & shop locally. It is
very convenient for me. I live on McDonald’s “pop with ice & a straw”.
WHAT ELSE SHOULD WE KNOW? Brookfield has been Wee-B-Kids home since 1985. We
have grown together throughout the years. We offer a preschool program throughout
the school year. We hold three field trips per week in the summer. We serve a nutritious
lunch & two snacks daily. They are included in your tuition. We have a large outdoor
facility, as well as a large muscle room. All staff is OPR certified. We offer several
additional activities for all ages.
