ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION : In 1954 , Thomas Loroy Smith identified the need for service of heating and cooling equipment in the Waukesha area . It was then that he decided to provide this service to those in need . One problem , Tom was not old enough to drive yet ! As ambitious as he was this wasn ’ t going to stop him . So he rode a bike to customer ’ s homes . If this call was too far to ride a bike , Tom would hire a taxi or have someone drive him . This continued commitment is what we are dedicated to hire at Tom ’ s Heating . As a result of this we are one of only two companies of over 5,000 across this nation to receive the most prestigious award , Carrier ’ s President ’ s Award , in the industry !
WHAT IS ACUPUNCTURE ?
To answer this question one must answer the question , what is “ Qi ”? Qi is basically energy in all of its forms . Physical , emotional , and mental energy are all forms of Qi . Acupuncture is the tool that builds and moves this energy or “ Qi ”. Movement is life , non-movement is disease . When Qi stagnates , disease forms . Acupuncture is what moves this Qi , therefore removes the obstruction , in turn allowing your body to heal .
Beyond moving your energy , acupuncture also builds your Qi , thus strengthening your immune system !
Acupuncture stimulates specific points on your body , alleviating certain ailments you may be suffering from including physical , mental , and emotional blockages . T h e instrument used for the removal of these obstructions is the acupuncture needle . The needle creates an inflammatory response thus creating the movement needed for healing .
