Museum of the Future: Lift launch Experience
Set in the year 2071, The Museum of the Future tells the story of life, nature and spirituality of the future. This first-of-its-kind immersive institution is designed to inspire us all to help shape a better world for our future. Framestore was asked to create the moment guests are transported into the future via a rocket launch from the future city of Dubai, up into space and finally docking into the spectacular space station OSS Hope. We then also created the return journey, an express drop back to earth with guests standing on huge screen under their feet. Framestore designed the physical capsule, the audio design and all of the media for the ten 98 inch 4k panels that wrap around the walls and ceiling of this intense and magnificent experience.
Prehistoric Planet: Discovering Dinosaurs
Framestore’ s immersive team led by VFX Supervisor Alan Woods collaborated with Lightroom London on their new‘ Prehistoric Planet: Discovering Dinosaurs’ immersive experience, crafting bespoke illustrations and extended CGI sequences to transport attendees into those iconic moments from the Apple TV + series. Lightroom’ s state-of-the-art 360 projections allow viewers to see these majestic animals at an awe-inspiring scale and travel alongside them through volcanoes, soaring skies and the deep sea. Prehistoric Planet: Discovering Dinosaurs has been directed and designed by 59 Studio in close collaboration with the makers of Prehistoric Planet, Apple TV +, and Executive Producer and BBC Studios Natural History Unit Creative Director Mike Gunton
