During 2023, Robocarv was commissioned to produce 250 3D resin printed models of Flowers and Fauna to be displayed alongside over 100 years of Gucci history and innovation. Using skilled digital
sculptors we produced digital models of 8 insects and 5 flowers and then 3D printed and finished by a team of model makers, the models ranged in sizes from 150mm up to 1.2m for the largest of the insects.

We were commissioned with the approval of the Monro family to reproduce the original 1970s artwork of pop artist Nicholas Monro, But 20 % larger than the original. The original maquette that was hand sculpted by Mr. Monro was 3D scanned and scaled up in our CAD systems to over 20ft high, we then broke the CAD model down into smaller pieces, which we then machined out of EPS using our robot milling arm. A steel armature was fabricated and installed within the EPS before the sculpt was encapsulated with PU resin and scenically painted.
