In my photos, I don’t try to gloss things over but try to convey the true feeling of the place and its culture. I think that is why the word “humanitarian approach” comes into play. Over the years I have worked with and known many photographers. I think photographers in general are great promoters of important causes and are more willing to stand up and tell stories that will drive action for social change one photo at a time. I think great photography can have an immense impact by creating awareness and motivating others to take action towards mutual respect, tolerance, justice and sustainability. © Larry Louie http://www.larrylouie.com/
