INDIA V/S SOUTH AFRICA
Strange as it may sound, India hasn’t won a match against South Africa, in the World Cup. So, this week’s match
will be a rather nail-biting one. One that may prove to be more involving than the previous match with Pakistan.
Especially since we are keen to break the jinx, and not topple like we did in the last World Cup. Yes, not many of
you may know, but even though we won the last World Cup, we lost to South Africa and were lucky that they lost to
New Zealand in the quarter-finals, else our victory would have been tough. This would simply be because we
crumbled after a score of 267 for 1, to a 296 all out.
We just hope that India doesn’t lose its morale, and doesn’t crumble down. We also hope that we don’t give away
too many runs while the ball is still shiny and till the spinners are able to step in. Also, we wish the men in Blue,
especially Dhoni, the very best, with an extra bit of wishes for the captain.
