ChuChu Chidiya Learns her Lesson for Cheating
would go and
play with
her friends.
Mumma
chidiya knew
that Chu
Chu was actually playing with her
friends. So
she warned
Chu Chu but
never
stopped her
from going
off to play.
Chu Chu Chidiya, a little
humming bird who had recently learn to fly, had
started going to school.
On the day of the exam, Chu
Chu grew very nervous but she
fluttered towards her school
on the Kalpvriksha Tree.
She had her exams but was
busy participating in flying
tournaments and would
waste hours telling her
mother that she was practicing her flying, but she
Chu Chu went for the exam
and realised she didn’t know
answers to many questions.
Just then she peeked into her
friend’s paper and decided to
depend on her friend’s
knowledge.
Cheating Spree in Bihar
You all may have
seen pictures of
children cheating
openly, with relatives climbing
school walls to pass
cheating sheets to
students.
That said, 500 students have been
expelled, and 300
people have been
arrested, including
some parents and
policemen.
Chu Chu returned home happy,
thinking she would score good
marks. Even mumma chidiya was
surprised, seeing Chu Chu so cool.
Mumma started feeling that maybe she had been wrong all the
while and Chu Chu had actually
learnt all that was needed for
the exam.
But when the results came, Chu
Chu was surprised. She had failed
the exam. She was very upset.
She wanted to ask her friend
why she didn’t study for the exam. But then she realised, that
even she herself had not studied.
Then at least her friend did not
cheat like her.
She then realised that not only
was it wrong to cheat, but it was
always a better idea to rely on
one’s own knowledge, rather than
on others.
Mumma Chidiya couldn’t be
fooled. As soon as she saw Chu
Chu’s answer sheet, she knew
that Chu Chu had cheated. But
then Mumma Chidiya realised
that Chu Chu had learnt her lesson.
