REGATTAS

RPAYC was well represented at regattas in Sydney and Port Stephens during the 2015 / 2016 season with some of our Division 1 boats achieving good results.

• Peter McNamara on Magic scored 1st Place on PHS and 3rd Place IRC Division 3 at the SSORC. He then followed up at the Sydney Harbour Regatta with a 2nd Place IRC Division 3.
• Peter Byford on‘ Conspiracy’ scored 3rd Place PHS Division 2 in the SSORC.
• Gerry Hatton on Bushranger scored a 3rd Place IRC Division 2 at the Sydney Harbour Regatta.
• Robert Alder and Bill Bailey on OCL 2 scored 2nd Place ORCI Division 2 at the Sydney Harbour Regatta.
• Barry Jackson on Alibi scored 1st Place in Performance Racing at the Sail Port Stephens Regatta.
• Many other Division 1 yachts travelled to the Harbour for both regattas and also Port Stephens representing RPAYC.
Congratulations to all above for their achievements.
STATE TITLES RMYC hosted the Sydney 38 State Titles which was dominated by RPAYC boats.
Congratulations to Rick Welch and crew on‘ The Bolter’ for their convincing win,
Mark Griffiths 2nd Place on Óld School Racing and 3rd Place went to Richard Williams on Çalibre from the CYCA.
