that they could now buy and turn Toad Hall into a business centre, a weirdly evil corporate plan. They were, however, rattled by the gang, who quickly ousted them in hand-tohand combat. Toad Hall was now reclaimed! A party ensued, where every character from the play, minus the dons, donned party hats, with even the backstage crew getting involved on Closing Night. Concluding with Rat’ s enchanting song on ducks, the curtains closed on a thoroughly entertaining show. The last night further saw thank-yous handed out for a good ten minutes, and I really do feel the need to draw particular attention to George’ s( hopefully) in-character remark of“ oh yeah, thanks for making this Mr Cunio”.
On the whole, I had an awful lot of fun going on Wednesday and Thursday night, and I must congratulate the entire house of Phil’ s, especially Eva Crouch, for putting on such an enjoyable show. Poop Poop.
