Hamilford Design Studio Unveils Interiors for Sale e Pepe Mare at The Langham Hotel, London

Hamilford Design Studio, led by Creative Director Manuela Hamilford, has completed the full interior design for Sale e Pepe Mare at The Langham Hotel, London.
The 5,000 sq ft project reimagines the celebrated Sale e Pepe brand, shaped by both southern Italian coastal heritage and the structured elegance of northern culture.
Hamilford Design was responsible for all works and design direction, shaping the spatial narrative through bespoke elements, carefeuly chosen pieces and texures.
Framed timber walkways and softly illuminated arches establish rhythm and add grandeur throughout the space, guiding guests through to the principle dining area.
Warm oak and walnut panelling reference Milanese townhouse interiors, while deep sea-glass tones and sculptural glass chandeliers give the warm, golden light of Puglia.
At the centre of the scheme, a 16-foot Italian marble bar acts as the architectural focal point, framed by illuminated arches and layered bronze detailing with bespoke seating.
In the Private Dining Room, Amalico marble inlays and lacquered blue accents subtly reference the brand’ s heritage while introducing a contemporary Riviera sensibility.
Throughout the restaurant, carefully crafted timber, marble and stone surfaces are paired with layered lighting to create a sense of intimacy- designed to evolve from aperitivo through to late evening dining.
“ This project was deeply personal. Growing up in Italy shaped my perspective on hospitality- considered, atmospheric and lasting. The aim was to create something authentic and enduring.
