Eclectic Furniture: Uniting Contemporary Creations and Vintage Pieces
Through this project, Uncanny has created an open aesthetic vocabulary, grounded in the present yet infused with the memory of the place. This is evident in the carefully chosen furniture, featuring pieces from Muuto, Petite Friture, Frama CPH, Popus Edition, Dooq, 101 CPH, alongside a significant selection of restored vintage items. The Listening Bar is a perfect example, with nearly all its furniture sourced from vintage markets in collaboration with Selency.

A place imbued with life, poetry and narrative
Locke de Santa Joana is far more than a hotel: it is a contemporary refuge, a place for exploration and contemplation, where every space invites wandering, curiosity, and emotion. Through meticulous attention to materials, textures, objects, and artworks, Uncanny has captured the soul of the site in a vibrant visual narrative, true to the spirit of Locke: a free, sensory lifestyle inspired by local culture.
