WeWantMore Redesigns Public Spaces for DoubleTree
DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam Central Station has unveiled a full redesign of its ground floor— ushering in a bold, locally inspired interior concept by design studio WeWantMore, in collaboration with Hilton. From lobby to bar to a new restaurant concept, the refreshed design offers a vibrant and layered guest experience, rooted in the visual language of Amsterdam.
From Transit Space to Cultural Statement Originally opened in 2011, the hotel sits just steps from Amsterdam Centraal Station. With foot traffic from global travelers and locals alike, the public spaces needed to be functional, expressive, and unmistakably connected to Amsterdam. Hilton’ s brief was clear: create interiors that reflect the city’ s personality while offering flexibility and flow throughout the day. WeWantMore responded with a materials-driven concept rich in tactility, colour, and cultural cues.
