ATHLETE SIDELINE MEDICAL VOLUNTEER STAFFING MODELS
CREDENTIALS AND SHIFT REGISTRATION
We utilized many different types of qualitied health care professionals for the medical staffing of The World Games . Staffing Credentials Utilized :
• Medical Doctors – MD
• Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine – DO
• Physician Assistants – PA-C
• Nurse Practitioners – NP
• Certified Athletic Trainers – ATC
• Physical Therapist – DPT or PT
• Advanced Practice Provider ( NP or PA-C ) – APP
All licensed medical providers had their license checked prior to registering for specific volunteer shifts in a process through the Rosterfy volunteer management system . Shift registrations were managed through an online Google Sheets matrix and based on times of practices and competition play . This registration was monitored closely by Sports Medicine physician venue leaders and select Sports Medicine administrative staff . That information was then conveyed to leadership and updated on the master staffing matrix . Competencies were validated by the staffing leader .
