As you know by now Fred and I have been
trying to contact all of our classmates. We were
a class of 63, have lost 18, and have 45 living
classmates. We hope you will all be able to
gather with us as we celebrate this special anniversary and as a class, give something back to
the school that gave us so much. It is our time
and our chance to, “pay it forward.”
Here are some quick updates on a few of the
guys we’ve been in touch with: John Rosenberger — the Rosenbergers are retired and
living in Smyrna, Del. They are in good health
and are very active enjoying “Country Line
Dancing” on a regular basis with their neighbors in their community. Dan Allen — Dan
and Kathy are preparing to sell their machine
shop and give this retirement thing a try. Dan
Norton — Dan and Lois are well and still very
busy serving the Lord at Grace and Truth Bible
Church in Hummelstown, Pa. The Norton’s
son Dan and his wife Kristen are in inter-city
ministry and are starting a church in Camden,
N.J. Dan and Kristen are grandparents making
Dan and Lois great-grandparents for the second time. Two of their granddaughters spent
this past summer on mission trips to Haiti and
Columbia.
The Petersons and Vandegrifts are well and
were just getting ready for the big “Dickens of a
Christmas Carol” weekend in Wellsboro when
I spoke to Pete. Pete said it was so popular that
there was not a hotel or motel room for miles.
Fred has talked with a number of guys as
well…Mike Noll, Bob Raybold, Maynard
Stuckey, Martin Hetrick, Ron Mock.
We are having trouble contacting a few
classmates and might be using outdated information. We are looking for Leroy Ames,
Bill Genard, Dave Mershon, Randy Park, and
Dick Tyson. If you’re reading this would you
please call me at 570-752-3228, or if someone
has contact information. We just want to make
sure you’re included.

Gentlemen:
I hope you have a happy and healthy 2015.
We had an unofficial 46th year 6W8 reunion
get-together on Nov. 5 at the Shady Maple Restaurant in Lancaster, Pa. We had 20 classmates
attend (a few more than last year) and there
were some who have not seen each other since
our graduation in ’68.
Here is the news from our class.
Ron Wildasin traveled the farthest, driving
in from Wisconsin. Ron is still working for
the same company as when he left Williamson
— Cleaver Brooks. Ron looks great and held
a power plant “staff meeting” at Shady Maple
with his classmates from his shop. His knowledge was fabulous. Ron, I’d buy a power plant
for you to set up!
Dan Smith gets second place for distance
driving — coming in from Indiana. Dan recently became a grandfather for the first time.
Dan has a totally complete cabinet building
shop in his basement and enjoys making various projects.
Monte Lawley caught me off guard as he
sported a full distinguished beard. He was not
the same clean-shaven f
