than in the preceding ten years. I credit the
leadership of President Rounds for this amazing progress. Credit also goes to some dedicated alumni who have pitched in with funding
and many hours of work. Our project manager, Tom Ott, semi-retired as a former senior
project manager with Westinghouse and Stone
& Webster, has been our technical genius in
keeping the project on track. I am sure more
will be written about the project in this issue of
the Williamsonian.
“Ginny and I have a second home on Hilton
Head Island, S.C. We have been trying to make
it our first home, but we’re still drawn back to
Albemarle by long-term friendships. Albemarle has been our home since 1977, so our roots
are here in North Carolina.
“On the balance, life is good for the Dick
Storm family. My offer to you: let us take you
out for dinner, give you trip on our GradyWhite boat and show you some good old
Southern hospitality. If you’re heading to Florida on I-95, our exit is No. 8. Give us a call or email to make certain that we are on the island,
