As you know by now, we moved here permanently in August. We are 90 per cent unpacked and beginning to enjoy our Florida surroundings. We purchased a golf cart and I will begin playing again in January (two years of waiting is now over). We like our “55 and older” community, called Stone Crest. Shopping is close by and accessible by golf cart. Pat and I are looking forward to our reinvigorated retired life without cold weather. Our Florida info is as follows: Pat and Ed Miller, 12449 SE 173rd LN, Summerfield, FL 34491, (352) 653-3340, [email protected]. I heard from Don and Edna Rumbold. Edna enjoyed the first snow fall of the winter. She said Don watches her play in the snow from “inside” the house. Glad to hear the golf game is still good. Guess what? Larry Tschopp has hung up his dentist drill and white coat! He sold the business and retired on Dec. 23. Congratulations, Larry. Now life begins again. He and Carolin will be relaxing for a while (in a warm climate?) before reentering snow country again. Larry is looking forward to completing his book on “The Lykens Valley Railroad and Coal Company” now that he is retired. Good luck, Larry. According to Joe Updegrove, he and Laney lead a “dull” life in Indiana. I don’t think Joe has ever led a dull life. He and Laney helped her mother celebrate her 94th birthday in December in Minnesota. Joe says he owes Larry a dinner. Does that mean Larry completed bui [
